Online training anyone?

Well, the car show season is coming to an end, which means I'll be able to dedicate a lot more of my time to increasing my knowledge of code and best practice. I have a lynda.com user account and plan on making good use of it. In the long run, I hope to be able to pass some of the Adobe certification tests and make my business card a little prettier. :-) Anyone have any suggestions? What helped you blossom into the programmer you are today? I plan on taking the "Beyond the Basics" course for Flex 3. I've heard good things about the CF8 "Exam Buster" software too. Just looking for a little feedback.

ike's Gravatar Last time I looked at it the CF Exam Buster did a pretty good job of predicting success on the real certification test... In both cases a lot of the questions end up being unfortunately worded -- so that the question either becomes misleading or in some cases flatly incorrect (so the correct answer is not the correct answer). Or at least that was the case last time I took the exam... I took the CF5 exam and then later took the MX exam... and haven't taken any since then. I was "advanced" (over 85% ?) both times... So both on the tests and the exam buster I was in the 90+% range. And of course because of the nature of the test a "ballpark" is the best you'll get from the exam buster, but at least in my case the ballpark was good and close, so I was happy with it.
